I grew up in a pastor’s home where my parents cultivated in me a love for God and family. Upon my high school graduation, I decided to take the road less traveled. Instead of attending college, I married and began my entrepreneurial journey. My husband and I have been married for 18 years and have four children whom we have home educated from birth.
Entrepreneurship continues to be a passion of mine. I’ve done quite a few different things over the years including direct sales, helping companies market their products to homeschoolers, making phone calls for a charity, and writing articles — all from the comfort and chaos of home while homeschooling. I currently teach private piano lessons from my home and help my husband in our family e-commerce business while continuing to homeschool our children.
What you will read here is a mix of all of my interests and what I’m reading and learning about each: Biblical theology; teaching and playing music; homeschooling; self care for the at-home mom; time management and productivity; business done God’s way; holistic, natural health and nutrition.
If you’d like to learn more about my piano music and teaching, stop by my FaceBook page and hear my homemade piano videos or have a conversation about playing or teaching piano.
While I’m not currently taking writing assignments, here are samples of stories I’ve written for others:
